Where We’ve Been, Where We’re Going
In December 2002, a small office space was rented in Raymore where a core group of 6 grew to 25 people in two months. God had planted a desire in the heart of founding and lead pastor, Chris Pinion, to plant a church that was all about reaching people who are far from God. After outgrowing three locations, God performed a miracle in allowing the church to purchase the Old Harley Davidson building on North Scott in Belton in February 2005. Volunteers spent countless hours transforming the former motorcycle dealership into a ‘place to call home.’ Many people were introduced to a relationship with Christ for the very first time. Marriages were saved, lives were being changed, and relationships were being developed.
In September 2007, LifeQuest launched a second campus at the Eagle Glen Intermediate School in Raymore with nearly 100 people in attendance. As the Belton campus continued to outgrow its facility, the decision was made to temporarily combine both campuses into one location in order to have adequate space for the kids. The adventure continued as the Belton location was relaunched in July 2009.
With a heart for multi-site campuses, LifeQuest launched a campus in the Kansas City Northland area. Our desire is to plant more churches throughout the Kansas City area and the world.
